Some doings lately over at Nightmare Armor: shots of Caleb Hunter in a Caboose-blue suit, scores from their latest LAN fest, and special Nightmare Eggs for Easter (even a light red one).

An HBO forumgoer named pilotelite seems to have found a new item on the Red vs Blue site-- a page entitled The History of Red vs Blue, as told by Geoff Fink. I won't spoil the details except to say that I'm sure Justin Timberlake is glad things worked out the way they did.

Louis Wu mentioned in the HBO forum that there are a lot of entries for the Win A Date With One One Se7en contest currently going on at HBO, and not a few are not making the cut because submitters are not following the directions. In short:

• Fill out the form completely, including which option (1, 2 or 3) your strip is.
• Do NOT post your entry in the forum.

Ross Mills notes in the HBO forum that if anybody is ordering the Fable DVD, to watch during the "Making Of" vid that's on the disc, as you might catch a glimpse of him wearing a Halo t-shirt. Mills was a Fable tester.

Some news from Red vs Blue: first, the latest episode, 29, is available for sponsors.

Second, a Wall Street Journal reporter watched them make a recent episode and wrote an article that appeared on the front page of the WSJ's Friday edition. Over at HBO, Louis Wu notes that one Jon Keegan who works for the WSJ has sent a link that works for nonsubscribers for the next seven days, so all the Halo fans can read the story.

Rams, formerly of Battleground: Halo fame but now in retirement, has moved his blog over to Blogger.com, and one of his early entries is a review of Halo TV. The summary is that he applauds the sentiment, but the small size leads to some headache-inducing viewing.

The second comic in Halo Babies' new serial is up now.

A recent forum thread at HBO challenged forum users to complete a joke started in a One One Se7en panel using the new AutoMagic 117 StripzMaker (now with even more templates).

Now that's been turned into an official HBO contest, with five copies of the special edition Halo 2 calendar, courtesy of the Arbuthnot Entertainment Group, to the creators of the best punch lines.

Halo Phenom, a site that apparently started up only in February, is now closing in April. We mentioned them once when they put up an article on online cheating. Thanks Strithe who let us know.

The service streams various Halo movies, and in addition did a live broadcast of the CAL season finals between xeno and Gamers Paradise.

Jason Snell, editor of MacWorld, has a column up recounting the good times he had playing network games of Marathon while working at MacUser, and insists that Marathon is really at the core of what Halo is:
