Unyielding for Piano Only

My first attempt at transcribing music,
There are a few bits which I cut down for the fact it sound boring without a full orchestra and it's emotion (they are just repeating, apart from dynamics). Then, there is a section where I could not complete the rhythmn properly and the final outro I there's something slightely wrong with the rhythmn but I couldn't work out what the real rhythmn was on paper. The expression marks could be better... But if you've listened to the song you shouldn't have trouble working thing's out (as goes for the outro).

Less was More?

Despite the grumpy and dissatisfied tone I seem to have established in this blog, in vilifying various Bungie design decisions, I certainly don't regret the time I've spent playing, reading, thinking and writing about the Halo series. Now that the trilogy is done, however, and we've had time to digest Halo 3, I think it's time to start putting the whole experience into some kind of perspective. In previous entries I've talked mainly about technical factors in level design, gameplay and story construction.

Sacred Icon - Piano/Keyboard

This is a keyboard transcription of "Sacred Icon" or (Arbiter's Theme) from the Halo 2 soundtrack.
A nice piece for piano improvisation or preferably keyboard with a strings patch. Enjoy!

Impend - Piano/Keyboard

This is a keyboard transcription of "Impend" in C from the Halo 2 soundtrack. Can be performed by piano, but meant to be played with a strings patch.
Its a simple little passage that's fun to play once you get it down. Enjoy!

Building Better Bosses

I'm returning to a fundamental theme of my first entry: the tension between the need (or desire) to tell a story in a particular way, and the need to keep the player involved and immersed - by maintaining the consistency and believability of the game-world. Once again I have specific Halo examples in mind - the boss-battles in Halo 2, and Halo 3. Obviously, this means Halo 3 Campaign spoilers, so stop reading here if this is a problem for you.

reguarding halo sheet music - full orchestra

i have a question

on the sheet music section, there is the halo theme for a full orchestra, and i tried to download it, but it wouldn't let me.
i have neither of the programs that it was made on.

i was just wondering whether there was a way i could download it without any of those programs.

i tried unzipping it to adobe, but that wouldn't work either.
