Looks like ILB is well and truly coming to a close; the NetNinja Bee Wiki is reporting that the ILB site is now updated with new text, where Melissa reveals that both the Queen and the Sleeping Princess were aspects of her own personality, brought back into union and sharp focus through the actions of the players.
Mat "shunji" Noguchi, that is, Bungie curmudgeon. Frankie has offered him up sacrificially to answer questions on the Bungie.net forum (largely as a distraction from spoilers, no doubt). So far a lot of questions, and not many answers, although the thread is so long it might be hard to find Mat's answers if they are there; or perhaps his answers will be posted in a separate thread. Stay tuned.

A very long thread in the Gearbox forums has some of the usual complaints about Halo CE in it, mostly about lag and "warping", and a response from Randy "DuvalMagic" Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox, providing some of the background on the project to port Halo to the PC and how it affected the game's eventual network performance:

The I Love Bees Alternative Reality Game, scheduled to end on Halo 2's release day, may be getting closer to finishing up. Louis Wu at HBO writes that the 404 page at ILB.com is now instructing players to gather in certain cities on November 4 for a "training exercise", which some fans speculate may involve... playing Halo 2.

Today Rampancy.net was upgraded to version 4.5 of the Drupal Content Management System. Other than a few minor cosmetic changes, most users should not notice too much that is different. Here are some known changes and issues. Some we may be able to work on and fix, some we definitely will, and some we might not.
Dolbex sends word that the first annual MLG Season Championship has begun. Of particular interest to us are the Halo Brackets which have updated scores from the first day.
