Mat "shunji" Noguchi, tools programmer at Bungie, has come up for air after Halo 2 crunch time, and apologized for the recent (if understandable) lack of entries on his blog.
He ends the entry with a "random bit of trivia" for those awaiting Halo 2:

Chat At Marius.net Without Myth
We missed it, but earlier this month Doobie at MariusNet made an announcement of an app called MythChat, created by Capital and Nae'blis. It runs on top of a Java Virtual Machine and allows users to connect to MariusNet's game servers and chat with players without loading the Myth game program itself.

The Fallen Will Avenge In 2005
Horus wrote in the MBO forum late last week that The Fallen's Vengeance fan-made expansion for the Myth 2 engine, now has a completed story and a working demo, with 3-4 levels to be worked on, and "maybe" ready for release early in 2005. After all these years, people are still making things and playing with Myth, a great tribute to the quality and flexibility of this game. Mythica File Hosting Works At Rampancy
Brian Towne of Mythica, who has so generously offered to host user-created media files under 8mb for free, suitable for linking to from Halo and Bungie-related sites, has graciously agreed to add rampancy.net to the list of allowable hosts. So if you have a picture you want to post in a forum comment, or in your blog, feel free. Rampancy supports BBCode for linking images, or HTML.

H2 Soundtrack Vol. 1: Music Inspired By Halo
Marty The Elder dropped into the HBO forum to answer questions about the Soundtrack promotion at Sumthing.com. Basically, the soundtrack to be released on the same day as the game will have whatever tracks of the game's score that are ready to be released at that time, plus "music inspired by Halo 2" produced by other artists.
A New Sound For Halo 2?
