1Up has screenshots from Dead or Alive 4 showing Spartan-458 in action against Ryu Hayabusa on Cairo Station. These appear to be the same images as those scanned from print magazines recently. Xboxyde came up with the shots. (Anybody else still secretly hoping Cortana is hidden in there, too?-Ed.)
Metacritic has put up a page for the Xbox version of Stubbs the Zombie; so far, through five reviews the game is pulling a 79 out of 100 on what they call "generally favorable reviews". Of those reviews, 1Up is currently the highest (90) and GamePro the lowest (70).
Xbox.com is carrying an official notice of a 24-hour outage of Xbox.com and Xbox Live on October 24, 2005, in preparation for a new look for both the service and the site, including the launch of My Xbox in early November and the Xbox 360 launch in late november.
GameSpot has only one beef with Stubbs the Zombie it seems-- the game is hilarious, satisfying-- and too short.
Xbox 360 users will have their "gamer card" showing their XBL gamertag, picture, last five games and "gamerscore" tightly integrated into a new version of Xbox.com, including the new forumsm says Major Nelson in his latest blog entry.
Rapture at CookedGamers reports he's seen playable Xbox 360 kiosks at a Wal-Mart in Huntsville, Alabama. Pictures to come later.

Seth Jayson at the financial analysis site the Motley Fool thinks that the rumors of Xbox 360 shortages exist to spur demand for the console, and the in fact Microsoft will have plenty of the console available for the holidays.

GamePro's Stubbs the Zombie review gives the game a score of 3.5 out of 5 points, with high marks for the game's concept. Most of their complaints seem to center around the "dated" Halo engine.
The new "My Boyfriend's Back" trailer for Stubbs the Zombie is a riot-- a zombie riot, but a riot nonetheless. And as the game shipped today for the Xbox-- go buy a copy!

1Up has put up their a review of Wideload's Stubbs the Zombie. The game pulls a rating of 9.0 out of 10.0 for its humor, style, and solid gameplay.
There are also hints that there may be almost as many things for tricksters to hunt for in Stubbs as in Halo 2. Except instead of skulls, Stubbs has-- well-- hippos.
