Impressions: Delta Halo
After the Metroplis closing cutscene, most fans were getting set to break out the pitchforks and the torches to protest that Halo 2 was denying them what they had expected to get-- a long, drawn-out, large-scale invasion of Earth to battle against. That's a shame, because the next two levels, Delta Halo and Regret, are where Halo 2 really starts to shine, although there still are a number of differences from the first game that may eventually prompt fans to fire up the prequel.

Halo Tournament In Calgary
Framerate posted over at HaloPlanet about FragFest 2K5, a Halo tournament in Calgary from January 28-29. Check the Maasai Clan website for details.
UPDATE: The tournament has been delayed until late March, and the organizers are hoping to involve the Canadian Gaming League.
Mac Halo Gets Another Update
Halo for the Mac has gotten another update, 1.51 to fix various bugs with ATI hardware. You can get it at MacUpdate or HBO.

Bungie Jumping Into The Big Time
Bungie news from an unusual source today: Business Week talks to Matt Soell, Alex Seropian, and (no kidding here) Durandal Brytting of Stockholm who legally changed his name in honor of the rampant AI from Marathon about how Bungie keeps alive a small studio feel from deep inside Microsoft. Thanks HBO.
