As mentioned awhile ago, Cody Miller had completed Twin Galaxies' challenge to finish Halo 2 at Legendary difficulty in one sitting and with zero deaths. How, that three-and-a-half hour journey can be downloaded via BitTorrent at HBO. There are 800 and two gigabyte versions. Thanks Louis Wu.
Bungie is asking the community to pitch in and help the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, Bungie-style; the Bungie Store has a new $19.99 t-shirt for sale, and of that price $15 will go to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief efforts.
Stuntmutt's ridiculously long Suffer This LAN event writeup from a few days ago is over in the HBO forum, where such things rightfully belong. If I can find a British slang translator I'll link it here, too.
Having recently returned to the Rampancy cave after a short stretch on the steppe, I've collected a few news nibblets of note:
Halo Babies' 100th comic is up today, along with an update to the wallpaper section. Thanks mrsmiley.
Psyched has announced that MariusNet and The Myth Jumpers will soon be holding a Myth 2 tournament called MAJORMATT 2005. Read about all the details in Bungie's Underground forum. Thanks MBO.

Eric Trautmann's latest (lengthy) blog update is a hoot to read and is even on-topic, as his new neighbors disclose his location to the neighborhood Halo fans.
Following closely on the heels of yesterday's prognostications in Variety about the Halo motion picture project, none other than Bungie's own scriptwriter extraordinaire, Joe Staten, penned part of a piece to try and calm the nerves of Halo fans everywhere, and give them every possible assurance that Bungie is engaged and enthusiastic about this project-- about Alex Garland's script and about the attitude of producer Peter Schlessel.
[image:9673 align=left hspace=5 vspace=5 border=0] Halo blog Tied The Leader today has an eighteen-minute telephone interview with Steve "Master Chief" Downes, on-air personality for Chicago's WDRV and the voice of the terse protagonist of Halo and Halo 2.
The voting booths are open for the 2005 Rockets on Prisoner awards presented by That Weasel Television.
Couple of good strategy articles linked from HBO this weekend. Overswarm updated the Not So Common Sense Guide with new articles and movies, and LegendaryMark wrote an article on coordinating large matchmaking teams. Both are excellent reads with useful tips.
The Battle Cat at Forerunners.org (and Cortana.org) wrote last week that there's a group that assembles each Saturday night at the hl.forerunners.org Hotline servers to assemble for networked games of Bungie's Marathon series, using the latest builds of Aleph One. If you've only ever played the Halo games or perhaps the Myth series, you owe it to yourself to see what Bungie fans were playing while everyone else was shooting exploding barrels in Doom. It's well worth it.
Brian "Amaroq" Towne of the Mythica filehosting services has been interviewed by the guys at Halo Arena. Check it out.
