Polygon has now done a follow-up on their earlier piece about Destiny. In Bungie's new game, humanity apparently aren't yet galaxy-roaming colonists, and the action seems centered on our own solar system.
Added a new Destiny Concept Art gallery. Many, if not all, of these images were also included in the ViDoc, but these images are direct from Bungie.net and of higher quality.
This image also shows one example each of the three known player classes.

The enemies in the background being fought by the Warlock were referred to by Bungie as "space zombies".
IGN referred to this area as the Black Garden, saying Bungie described it as "a surreal, fantastic place". Bungie would not say where the location was or give any other information about it.
The Vex are described as time-traveling robots. They appear to take several different forms.
