There is a nifty screenshot over at Marathon Open Source that shows the Warthog from Halo rendered within Marathon. Funny, I don't remember it being those colors.
The movie Bungie used to open the Halo launch party with the drill sergeant yelling at the scrawny dorks has been made available at Truth And Reconciliation on the launch party recap page. The movie is a 35 MB MPG file. (Thanks HBO)
Marty O'Donnell is telling everybody over at the halo.bungie.org forum they should think carefully before deciding to watch the Gamespot movies recently made available. While it may be too late for a lot of us, he's still got a good point:
Two of the Pax Nimbus, SiliconDream and DeusExMachina, made it to MWSF and to the Gathering of Fans on Wednesday the 5th. Despite great hardship - including Silly's damaged camcorder, problems converting the video to QT format and pizza-bloat - they managed to film a number of things, convert it to QuickTime format and hand it off to me so that I could share it with the rest of you.
