Perilous Journey
I've had these for quite a while but never got around to posting them. I finally added some finishing touches so here they are.

This is a transcription of the Halo Main Theme, sung by the monks at the loading screen.
This melody is incorporated into many other Halo themes in the games and is a simple tune for young players and beginners learning to read music.

hi im fairly new to this site.
I was wondering if anyone has got any halo songs that have the trombone as one of the main instruments.
If anyone could get the sheet music for a song like that i would be really happy. If not could anyone make the songs playable on the trombone?
Thanks,

... well, not really THAT personal. However, Ducain at HIH did go into an awful lot of detail in his questioning of yours truly and Louis Wu at HBO, and the resulting fountain of verbiage is now duly formatted and posted for the benefit of those wit intestinal fortitude to spare and time to waste.
Hey since we have so many musical geniuses (soory for my spelling), I'm a member of my jr. highs top band and i was wanting to know if anybody was willing to write some HALO music for my band to try to play. We have 10 flutes, 11 clarinets, 3 oboes, 5 alto saxs, 6 french horns, 4 euphoniums, 2 tenor saxs, 1 berry sax, 2 bassons, 1 bass clarinet, 5 tubas, 6 trumpets, 8 or 9 trombones, and 8 percusionists. If anybody is willign to do this i would be forever in your debt!
This is a Piano transcription of the Halo "Love Theme Sketch" that never made it into the final game or soundtrack.
Marty composes many sketches like this that often never get used, but it's a very nice piece and you asked for it, so enjoy!
I'll hopefully get a MIDI performance up soon. For the meantime, here is something to go by: [url=http://files.filefront.com/halo+love+theme+sketch/;3990444;/fileinfo.htm... Love Theme Sketch.mp3[/url]
Could someone ether transcribe or link to the sheet music for the halo love theme sketch? I would really appreciate it.
The piano solo at the end of the Halo 1 theme song. This is my first transcription, and I'm pretty happy with it. The .zip contains a .midi, a .pdf and a NoteWorthy Composer project file.
Hello all,
On You-Tube i was looking around for Halo Funnies, but i found a H1 movie instead, what happend was at the end of the game he took his helmet of but you dont get to see it. Then there was another ending that when he took his Helmet off, he had a similar, smaller helmet underneath. This movie is really funny but i dont know if its real. All you have to search is "Spartans Face".

Looks like the dread intrusion of 'real life' may have finally claimed Stuntmutt, the author of One One Se7en, which after nearly five years and 777 strips, is being put into c0ld storage.
Say it isn't so, Stunt!

OldNick is at it again, this time wondering if sometimes less is more, if somehow the Halo series became something a bit less by trying to become something a lot more.
Perhaps this is what Jason Jones meant about Halo 1's "beautiful simplicity" compared to Halo 2 (and, one would assume, Halo 3).
Despite the grumpy and dissatisfied tone I seem to have established in this blog, in vilifying various Bungie design decisions, I certainly don't regret the time I've spent playing, reading, thinking and writing about the Halo series. Now that the trilogy is done, however, and we've had time to digest Halo 3, I think it's time to start putting the whole experience into some kind of perspective. In previous entries I've talked mainly about technical factors in level design, gameplay and story construction.
This the Truth and Reconciliation Suite version that Poop Scoop did. I changed the channels, pan, volume, and instruments. I was getting a MIDI error when I played it through SongWriter 2007. The problem was that all of the instruments were under the same instrument name channel and General MIDI (GM). This causes the sound to be glitchy and sound unrealistic. Also, by changing the pan, you can edit where the instrument's sound source comes from. In other words, if you listen through a set of headphones, you can hear different instruments from various directions.
For those who don't have Finale PrintMusic, I've added PDF and MIDI files to the entries for Covenant Dance, Follow Our Brothers, and To Kill A Demon.
