This is a Piano transcription of the Halo "Love Theme Sketch" that never made it into the final game or soundtrack.
Marty composes many sketches like this that often never get used, but it's a very nice piece and you asked for it, so enjoy!
I'll hopefully get a MIDI performance up soon. For the meantime, here is something to go by: [url=http://files.filefront.com/halo+love+theme+sketch/;3990444;/fileinfo.htm... Love Theme Sketch.mp3[/url]
The piano solo at the end of the Halo 1 theme song. This is my first transcription, and I'm pretty happy with it. The .zip contains a .midi, a .pdf and a NoteWorthy Composer project file.
Hello all,
On You-Tube i was looking around for Halo Funnies, but i found a H1 movie instead, what happend was at the end of the game he took his helmet of but you dont get to see it. Then there was another ending that when he took his Helmet off, he had a similar, smaller helmet underneath. This movie is really funny but i dont know if its real. All you have to search is "Spartans Face".

this is my variation on the halo theme for clarinet, contrabass, cello, violin and horns in F
Despite the grumpy and dissatisfied tone I seem to have established in this blog, in vilifying various Bungie design decisions, I certainly don't regret the time I've spent playing, reading, thinking and writing about the Halo series. Now that the trilogy is done, however, and we've had time to digest Halo 3, I think it's time to start putting the whole experience into some kind of perspective. In previous entries I've talked mainly about technical factors in level design, gameplay and story construction.
This the Truth and Reconciliation Suite version that Poop Scoop did. I changed the channels, pan, volume, and instruments. I was getting a MIDI error when I played it through SongWriter 2007. The problem was that all of the instruments were under the same instrument name channel and General MIDI (GM). This causes the sound to be glitchy and sound unrealistic. Also, by changing the pan, you can edit where the instrument's sound source comes from. In other words, if you listen through a set of headphones, you can hear different instruments from various directions.
