December OXM To Feature Halo 2 Review
Ryan_OXM (from the Official Xbox Magazine, it seems) has put up a thread in the TeamXbox forums detailing the contents of the December issue, including a 14-page Halo 2 review. He and their editor in chief, Rob Smith, have apparently already finished the game. Thanks Wiggum who posted in the HBO forum.
Are You The Ultimate Halo Gamer?
According to this thread at GameSpot, SpikeTV is doing a new show called The Ultimate Gamer. Residents of Southern California who want to try out are urged to attend a casting call today, October 12, at 15:00 at MTV Networks, 2600 Colorado Ave., Santa Monica, CA, and bring a photo of your living room and another of your house. Don't know if this is the real deal or not, but it might be.
Spoiler: What Is That In The Trailer?
Joshua Rennart has pulled out a few frames from the recent spoiler footage of what is assumed to be a new theatrical trailer, and tried to figure out what's hitting what. he's pretty sure one part is a Brute, but the other... he's not so sure about. Some have said it's a hunter, which he doesn't consider. Warning: spoilers!

Aero at Halo Impulse interviewed Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford about the port of Halo to the PC. Some of the answers are interesting:

The last Bungie Weekly Update by Frankie, this one in video format and apparently subtitled "Sexy Girls Gone Wild Video Edition" is available for download. HBO has put up a mirror page; there are WMP9 and QuickTime versions, both in BitTorrent and in direct download formats.
This Is It: Halo 2 Has Gone Gold
retsamolah pointed out in #hbo channel that Frankie has posted at Bungie.net that Halo 2 has gone gold. Incidentally, the "they said it couldn't be done" line mirrors the voice over in the leaked theatrical trailer bootleg I won't link you to.
Sketch promises a video update later and mentions a lot of new media items in the Halo 2 page.
