Rampancy

Eric Trautmann, who was responsible for editing the Halo novelizations and writing The Art of Halo, has noted on his blog a promotional comic he did for PD0:

I should add, Perfect Dark sucked countless hours of my life into a pixxelated void, never to return. Zero looks amazing. The game story (thus far) is pretty tight, and the support product my team is working on is shaping up to be damned cool. In essence, everything we wanted to do when Halo: Combat Evolved launched? We're finally being allowed to do it.

Hmm... a Halo comic... now there's an idea...

Even now a few Xbox 360-related tidbits are floating to the surface:

• Xbox365 has a piece on Cimtek, a company contracted by Microsoft to test and monitor their remote manufacturing subcontractors in China.
• eToychest has the transcript of the Xbox 360 Press Conference at E3.
• ExtremeTech has an interview with Todd Holmdahl, head of Xbox hardware.

The comic is becoming a little more like Halo Teens as Cortana gets some unwanted attention at E3.

DiehardSouljah has posted links to three videos in the High Impact Halo forum; they look like sneak peeks at some of Bungie's as-yet-unreleased Halo 2 maps due out later this summer. They're shakeycam footage, most probably from the E3 floor. Thanks supernostro for the heads-up in #hih.
