Information junkies, take note. Deluged with email, Nathan has pointed out a few guidelines to be taken into consideration when trying to interrogate him and other Bungie folk via email. Most are just common sense, but if you've recently been flooding Bungie mailboxes, you should probably familiarize yourself with these suggestions.
Freewill makes an excellent observation in this forum post at halo.bungie.org. On October 5, less than a week from now, Apple is believed to be unveiling their new iMac's, and Bungie may take that opportunity to show off the long awaited official trailer. Only speculation at this point, but still one to keep an eye on (nice catch, Freewill).
Not sure exactly when the threshold was broken, but it appears the Halo SETI@Home team has finally overtaken the Bungie SETI@Home team. Currently, the score is 1870 to 1817, with the Halo team crushing Bungie through sheer weight of numbers.
Kudos to those who campaigned so hard on behalf of the team (yes, this means you can take a break now, mad.max ;). Now then, who to go after next?
Legend and Vorick have pointed out that the scanned Next Generation article at halo.bungie.org may've come from the October issue, meaning there might still be something of interest in the November issue. Keep an eye on those magazine shelves...
A few little changes to the venerable news page today. In addition to more variance in the number of days posted, a quick list of recent threads from the forum are displayed below the news posts. It's just a trial run, but I don't forsee many problems with it.
Also, the poll is running again. Only took me a few weeks (to do fifteen minutes of work), but votes are once again welcomed. This week's topic is a bit weak, but I'm just giving the revised script a shakedown.
Kudos to the guys at halo.bungie.org, who have secured a scan (provided by b.org magnate Steve Campbell) of a new Next Generation Milestones article. While the page is festooned with old Halo screenshots, nothing new is offered--even the text is very brief, limited to a few small captions. Still, one should never look a full page of flattering screenshots in the mouth...
