Another one for the links list... halo.bungie.org reports a new Halo website today, Halo Command. While a bit rich on the front page graphics, it's well stocked with information, and makes a great site for educating a person who has yet to discover Halo.
Not much of note today. Marathon's Story has some interesting speculation on the abbreviation SC and SolCore, which may spur some conversation in days to come, but other than that very little is happening around our little corner of the web.
Cuzog just pointed out that the Hola Halo chat with StrobeShock has been moved from Thursday afternoon to Friday, at 3:00pm PST. Among the topics discussed will be the Darkside's upcoming merger with HaloNews.com... stop by if you're looking for the inside track.
Bah, how could I resist that pun? Marathon's Story is celebrating four years of reporting on all things Marathon today, an astonishingly long and successful run that doesn't look like it'll be ending anytime soon.
Among their posts today is a glimpse at what the site was back at the beginning. Is that how it looked the first time you visited? If so, count yourself among the Marathon faithful. Congrats to Hamish and the regulars, and may there be another seven anniversaries too!
If I can't give you current news, then I'll give ya old news! Kudos to Butcher (yes, kudos) for pointing out a Next-Generation article concerning Halo on the Playstation 2. In a nutshell, Bungie is listed, along with Halo, as being a prospective developer for the PS2, along with a few dozen other companies.
Well, no surprises here. Another lazy day in an increasingly long series of them. No sign of the long awaited official trailer, either... could be that it doesn't exist, someone is sitting on it, or Bungie is just waiting for us to drop our guard.
