What platform(s) will Halo 2 run on?
At the current time, Halo 2 has only been announced for Xbox. There is no word on whether or not it, like its predecessor, will be ported to other platforms (Macintosh, Windows).

When will Halo 2 be released?
Most fans originally guessed that Halo 2 would be released in Q4 of 2003 in time for the holiday shopping season.
However, Bungie announced early in 2003 that the game would not ship until 2004.
Early in 2004, Bungie announced that the game would ship in the Fall of 2004.
In May 2004, it was announced officially that Halo 2 would be released on November 9, 2004 in the US, later for other markets.
There will be two versions of Halo 2, a regular and a collector's edition that will come with bonus material on DVD.

Offical UK Xbox Magazine Says Halo 2 Out Xmas 2003
InsideMacGames is saying that the Official UK Xbox Magazine has reported that Halo 2 is in development and will be out for Christmas 2003. There is a quote in the IMG article, but it only mentions the Xbox General Manager -- not a name.

How Halo Has Evolved
From Louis Wu at HBO comes word that Bungie fan Deanero captured a special presentation of a 13 minute movie by Bungie entitled Evolution of Halo , which we've now mirrored here and at RHL.
