Battleground: Halo Nearing Launch
For those of you caught up in the frenzy of post Macworld speculation, Bounty sends this reminder that Battleground: Halo is on the horizon:
3Dfx Featured Game: Oni
Kudos to Xzzy, who pointed out in the forum that Oni has been selected as 3Dfx Gamers' featured game. I can't be sure if there's any truly new info there, as MWSF kinda threw off my state of Oni awareness, but this is certainly a feather in Bungie West's cap.

Tuncer Deniz Interview
CyberBob sends word that there is an interview with former Bungie project lead Tuncer Deniz in this month's issue of AppleWizards, a monthly Mac oriented e-zine. The interview is largely about the state of gaming on the Mac, so don't count on any revealing Halo tidbits. On the other hand, some excellent points are made in the interview, and it is definitely a recommended read.
bTV Footage Posted
Two items of note: Bungie has posted the Day 3 bTV footage at their bTV Archive, filling in another gap for those of you who missed the original broadcast. The files come in big and bigger, so fellow modem users out there might want to queue up these downloads for an overnight session.
Cortana Speculation
An interesting thread brewing on the forum this morning, kicked off by some points made by Xzzy concerning Cortana's whereabouts during the section of the storyline we've recently been exposed to.
Cnet Game Grab: Halo
Kudos to Vulcan, who pointed a small, but positive Halo game grab at Cnet. Alas, he is correct in pointing out that there's nothing new there... cycling through the screens, I haven't yet found a new one. Still, positive press is good press...
Marathon Halo Parallels
Need more reading material? Marathon's Story has drawn a formidable number of parallels between Halo and Marathon today, as well as made a few points concerning the timeline. Good, thought provoking stuff... lets just hope we get some answers to go with it.
Matt Soell Interview
Score! Claude Errera at bungie.org appears to have cornered Bungie's Matt Soell for long enough to get an interview out of him, touching on topics from Bungie staff to Soulblighter vs. Konoko. And, of course, there's some interesting Halo info in there, so be sure to stop by and take a look-see.
