Kudos to Shadowfax for pointing out this item at Gamespot UK:
Even with the restoration of plans to produce a version of Halo for the Macintosh as well as for Windows PCs and Microsoft's forthcoming X-Box gaming console, it seems as if Bungie will no longer be exhibiting at MacWorld conferences.
Bungie did not exhibit officially at MWNY in 2000, although Alex Seropian did take advantage of the opportunity to reconfirm Halo for the Mac during Steve Jobs' keynote address, quieting some ofthe fears of many of Bungie's Macintosh-using fans. Dan Rudolph, posting on the Oni Central forum, pointed out a MacGamer's Ledge article on the subject. Alex's parting with Bungie was entirely amicable and Matt had this to say to MGL:
In a brief post to the halo.bungie.org forum's discussion of his last update, Matt noted that
Adding IK to death animations is still in the preliminary stages. It won't be used for impact animations.
He also added more hints about that new weapon which, he'd said earlier, was once suggested on the HBO forum:
Today Max posted a response to Bungie.Net regarding some issues that the Myth games have been having with Windows 2000:
