I just got home from Best Buy, where I was looking around for Warcraft II: Battle.Net Edition. I saw the computer versions of Oni next to it and besides those boxes I was a bit surprised to see Oni soundtracks. I examined the jewel case, which had a Best Buy logo on it and a tag saying Free With Purchase Of Oni . I had no idea that an Oni soundtrack was available, let alone free from Best Buy. If you've yet to buy Oni or really want a soundtrack, go check out your local Best Buy.
Kudos to Cunbelin, who pointed out a post from Matt at ye olde HBO forum, hinting that the long neglected Halo website may be updated in the near future. An excerpt:

Wired News is running an article on just how fast the X-Box is expected to be. They're giving credit for its performance to two factors: the nVidia graphics chipset, and the memory architecture of the X-Box, where the main and graphics processors share main memory.
From the article:
Them hbo guys noticed Matt Soell (gotta remember to include his surname now) sketching out his current projects on their forum. The list is appetizing:
I'm working on some stuff for the relaunch of bungie.com, doing preliminary work for the next FanFest, meeting with various folks about various Halo-related things (websites, merchandise, etc.), and doing some other stuff that's still a secret. :-)

Kudos to Circumflex, who pointed out a MacCentral item which reports that Mumbo Jumbo has hired Duane Johnson, a programmer known for his work porting games to and programming on the Mac. An excerpt:
Part 2 of MythWolfAge.Com's interview with Mumbo Jumbo employees Santa's Head, fisj, and iggy popped has been posted today. This is one of the most informative bits we've seen on Myth III so far. Check it out:
I ran across an interesting quote tonight in PC Gamer's State of the PC Union address. The unidentified author talks about a number of issues, including the loss of great developers like Looking Glass and the intensifying PC vs. console debate.
First seen at MSXbox, Computer and Video Games has picked up some information on the Xbox's expected price from Microsoft UK.
