HBO Interviews Destineer's Peter Tamte
[image:4252 left hspace=5 vspace=5 border=0]OK, you've probably already seen this-- but if you haven't, head right on over to HBO and read the interview of Destineer's president, Peter Tamte. Destineer is publishing the port of Halo for the Mac that Westlake Interactive is coding, and Tamte himself is an alumnus of both Bungie and Apple.
So, You Want To Be A Cananimator
[image:4209 left hspace=5 vspace=5 border=0]OK, first, you'll have to get Canadian citizenship. That's the easy part. Then, you'll have to learn to be an animator. That's quite a bit harder, and to help, we suggest reading John "anim8rjb" Butkus' excellent article at Bungie.net entitled Becoming A Game Animator.
At the risk of enraging parents everywhere, I'll quote this little tidbit:

No Editing Tools For Mac Halo

Red Vs Blue Preparing Season 1 DVD
[image:4037 left hspace=5 vspace=5 border=0]gus over at Red Vs Blue noted that the delay in releasing Episode 18 is largely due to preparations for releasing Season 1 of the Blood Gulch Chronicles on DVD. Everybody who donated $20 or more during the season will get one.
Surrender And Prepare To Be Boarded

Halo Editing FAQ Published
[image:4040 left hspace=5 vspace=5 border=0]Along with the screenshots of Sapien, Gearbox also put up a Halo Editing FAQ. The most important bit (so far) is here:
The current plan is to have the Halo PC Editing Kit or at least the initial phase of the kit released very soon after Halo PC appears on store shelves.
Be sure to check it out if you're planning on trying your hand at making Halo maps, or if you're just curious. Or bored. Or whatever.
PC Halo Finished?
[image:4040 left hspace=5 vspace=5 border=0]Let the rampant speculation begin. The item countdown on the Gearbox projects page, which temporarily reversed itself earlier, is now gone entirely.
Does that mean there are no more items? Does it mean Golden Master? Does it mean nothing at all?
Time will tell.
