Frankie's Weekly What's Update at Bungie.net promises that the lack of information about.. whatever it is they're doing isn't just to spite us all:
We're torn between two goalposts (worst metaphor ever!) which are; waiting til' we're comfortable about talking about it, and being very busy making it. I know that's frustrating, but it's a complicated business and we're not just being jerks.
HBOer N1NJ4 wrote a review of Wideload's Stubbs The Zombie. The mostly-positive review says that Stubbs is as gross as it is engrossing:
The Hilton Head IslandPacket has a nice review of Stubbs the Zombie up that has two major negative points: one, it spoils part of the plot of the game in its second paragraph, and two, it suggests that because the game is too short, it's a better rental than a purchase. (This is what happens when you play Halo engine games on "Easy"--Ed.)

The Cayote Cavegirls took two games out of three against Bungie, with the second game being a draw due to a power outage. In the words of Frankie:

Joseph Blancato at the WarCry Network has put up a review of Stubbs the Zombie called That's Not Eisenhower-Era Behavior. He found the game quite underappreciated, as well as its main character, Stubbs, whom he likened to a zombified James Dean (hence the title):
Randall "Bat" Schwebke has put up the second part of Wideload Games dot Org's interview with Aspyr's Glenda Adams. Aspyr is now working on the Mac and PC versions of the game, which was released last month on the Xbox. Of note: the game is shipping for the Mac on a single DVD, but the PC version is shipping on 3 CDs.
Joe Staten has written the third part of his Great Hollywood Journey article at Bungie.net; this one talks about the superb craftsmanship that he, Don Parsons, and Steve Schreck witnessed at WETA Workshops.
The next installment should include information about possible directors for the film.
The Associated Press' roundup of Halloween themed games mentioned Stubbs the Zombie's "rampant, demented humor" (sounds like there's a Bungie fan there--Ed.) but used the other r-word as well.
The News Tribune in Tacoma, WA has an article about the recent Video Games Live show that played in Seattle and Vancouver, after similar shows elsewhere around the country were delayed or cancelled.
The Halo part of the performance was well-received. The organizers are attempting to put together a string of dates in 2006, but since the collection of musicians used for each show is assembled ad hoc, it is difficult.
