Updated NAV Definitions Prove Myth III Safe
Myth Village is reporting that Norton has updated the Anti-Virus definitions and Myth III no longer reads as being infected with the nimda virus. The updated definitions are available at Symantec.

Myth Village is reporting that Norton has updated the Anti-Virus definitions and Myth III no longer reads as being infected with the nimda virus. The updated definitions are available at Symantec.
ax pointed out in the community forum that Planet GameCube is reporting that Nintendo is allowing retailers to sell the GameCube as soon as it arrives in stores. Apparently the FYE stores in Connecticut are already selling the new system, which wasn't originally going to be made available until November 18.
While they called the graphics undeniably pretty and loaded with all sorts of eye candy , PlanetXbox has been less than completely pleased with Halo as a complete package in its latest review:
The Xbox commercials are now all over television screens, including Halo's commercial. Within 90 minutes, I caught the Oddworld commercial two or three times and Dead Or Alive 3's commercial once on Fox. Shortly after, I saw the Halo commercial on The WB. Of course it was only a matter of time before these commercials became available online, and well, now they have.

Thanks to help from Computer Associates we have confirmed earlier suspicions. Myth III full and the demo do not contain the Nimda virus. This was a false positive on Norton's part and should be fixed during the next update. Also note that any installer using a recent version of the Installer Shield will also trigger this same false positive.
