Gabe and Tycho seem to have the same opinion of Halo 2 as Halo 1: they love multiplayer and hate the campaign:
XBox Live Next has interviewed Wideload Games CEO and founder Alexander "The Man" Seropian. Looks like the interview occurred before Stubbs the Zombie was announced, though, so there's not much information there.
The Halo 2 juggernaut moves on into the first full weekend of XBL action. Here's the latest:
Cnet today has an article speculating on Microsoft's approach to trying to eliminate users of modified Xboxes from its Xbox Live gaming service, even going so far as to try and implicate Halo 2.
Following the anonymous release of a letter complaining about unfair labor practices at Electronic Arts, it seems the law firm Schubert & Reed LLP in San Fransisco is beginning proceedings for a class action suit, according to GameSpot, to represent employees of EA who it is claimed have been incorrectly classified as exempt from overtime payment.

Taylor Whitfield of the Paly Voice, the online paper of Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto, California, has a rather interesting figure quoted in their article on Halo 2 midnight madness:
"This is definitely the biggest turn out we’ve ever had," said Tyler Durden, manager of Game Stop."

Kitt at Evil Avatar pointed out a comparison between the number of users on Valve's Steam service to those playing Halo 2 on XBL. At the moment, they are about equal: around 75,000 players currently online.
