'Redux' For Doom 3 Recreates That Pathways Feeling
Late last month we mentioned a story at HBO about a mod for Doom 3 called Pathways Redux; Brendon Chung's recreation of the look and feel of Bungie's 1993 shooter Pathways into Darkness using the Doom 3 engine. akba has taken the mod for a spin and written a review of Pathways Redux for Rampancy.net.

A special detachment of Bungie's best calling themselves the Frag Doodz took on girl gamers the Frag Dolls in the latest Humpday Challenge and were as gracious in their (narrow) victory as we're ever likely to see them. Another Way To Save Your Halo 2 Stats
vviperxx pointed out another way to save your Halo 2 XBL stats from being wiped out: a perl script called H2SA that downloads all the HTML pages from Bungie.net and processes the statistics to produce a summary. It runs on Windows and *unix computers.
Sightseeing In Halo 2
David Galindo has made several Halo 2 movies, the most striking of which perhaps is The Sights of Halo 2, which includes no action or gameplay, just some of the beautiful locations in the game set against part of the Halo 2 soundtrack. News Flash: Halo 2 Is Popular
Five million copies of Halo 2 have been sold in less than three weeks, according to Microsoft. In addition, Halo 2 has now logged more hours online than any other XBL game in its two year existence. Major Nelson's blog has the entire press release.
Damned Lies Look Prettier In Excel
Major Nelson points out a way developed by Samrad to pull your Halo 2 stats from the RSS feed at Bungie.net into Excel for analysis and the making of pretty charts. Editor's Note: The required "import XML" menu item seems to be missing from Excel 2004 on the Mac, so it looks like this procedure requires Windows.
Halo 2 Reviews; Wired: Get In Line
