Louis Wu at HBO writes that all seven "instant win" trinkets in the Scavenger Hunt were found in less than 24 hours. In addition, a team of six got together and solved the puzzle already, claiming the grand prize in the process.
However, there are still 27 prizes left, so good hunting!
If you are afraid of Chelsea Bridge, you've probably got a specific opinion about which of the new maps in Halo PC you like best. If so, head over to Bungie.net and vote in their latest poll, noticed by Ross Mills and Louis Wu.
HBO has posted The Rules to the Great Halo Scavenger Hunt, the winner(s) of which will be literally drowned in miscellaneous Bungie gear. The keys to the whole things are trinkets: two kinds, Instant Win (IW) trinkets, and clue trinkets (ten of them) that lead to the solution of the whole thing... somehow.
Don't ask us. We don't know. Really. But if you're looking for advice, look farther afield.
Steve at Cortana.org took some PC Halo in-game screenshots and added them to their PC Halo gallery.
gfunk over at Red vs. Blue has put up a gallery of viewer-submitted items to keep everyone entertained in the gap between Blood Gulch Chronicles season 1 and season 2. The most interesting seems to be the Sarge MS Office assistant that appeared in one PSA; it seems Paul_NZ actually went ahead and made one.
Got my copy of Halo for the PC the other day and have been playing for a while. Heard "Killtastic!" for the first time today from the game's announcer. That was pretty funny. I was attempting to take over the hill on "King of The Hill" and when I arrived at the hill on foot I saw maybe 6 or 7 enemies defending. Happily I had Invisibility, Shield, a handfull of grenades, and the Fuel Rod gun. Heh. When I gleefully unloaded on them with a big grin on my face I heard, "Double Kill!", "Triple Kill!", then "Killtastic!". What a riot.

As if to confirm our original suspicions, we got another copy of the "you've won an Xbox" mail from another domain, this time prizebounty.com. IANAL, but this one spells S-C-A-M to me.
The Silent Cartographers, a PC Halo mapmaking group, have got their website up now. They have 14 members and list several projects on their project page, including four new maps, one called "Aquaphobia", a clear reference to similarly named levels in Bungie games, such as Phforaphobia in Marathon and Gephyrophobia in PC Halo.
Matt at Break Point Halo has put up a page of images from the LVGA event in Las Vegas; he says a writeup will come later.
Originally shown at the X03 event in France, this documentary film gives a behind-the-scenes look at Halo 2.
This is shakycam footage from the original event. Bungie's higher quality version from YouTube is here:
