Death by intelligence.
On and Off
I know that they say, when your Xbox 360 lights the "ring of death" you're toast.
So I did not use it anymore for like a month. I did not even bother to get it fixed because I was stumped with final research paper and other school work. It must be the spirits telling me that I need to write my essay and stop playing or I'll definitely fail.

Sheet music problems.
I've been working on a few songs from ODST. Rain is the song thats currently getting most of my attention. And there are many songs from the rest of the Halo games I would love to put on here.
But I have no idea how to create sheet music online(well, for free anyway.) I have Adobe Reader 7.0, so I can read PDFs, just have no idea how to create them. I've tried installing CutePDF, and that didn't help any. Also, my trial for Finale Notepad has expired.
I appreciate any help.

Mapping New Mombassa
I’m not convinced this is the best way to do this as it doesn’t really allow the level of Google Maps interactivity I wanted (multiple simultaneous editing) but it is a possible first step.
If you launch Google Earth and choose “Network Link” from the Add menu and type in the URL:
http://rampancy.net/sites/rampancy.net/files/mombassa_odst.kml
You’ll get a blacked out Earth with a New Mombassa scan on it with a single (fake) skull placemarker I put on it.

Cortana Podcast Gallery Up
Just a short note: the image gallery that accompanies the Cortana podcast episode posted yesterday is also now up, for all those people who (like me) don't yet have their copies of ODST and are still trying to avoid spoilers.
The next episode, Halo, will be out as soon as possible although I do expect more people will be interested in ODST for the foreseeable future. An episode covering ODST is also planned, Coming Soon™.

Soundtrack samples available on Bnet now, and I was wondering if anyone would be able to transcribe the Traffic Jam(partial) song? For the bass guitar, if possible. Thanks haha ^_^

Earth City For Piano (Full)
Here is a transcription of Earth City from Halo 2 for the piano (Now with E3 part). It's pretty difficult, so just keep practicing. :)
Many thanks to Spencer "Poop Scoop" Anunsen for his transcription of Earth City for the orchestra; I got most of the notes from there.
Some parts of the MIDI might sound a bit wierd, I was messing around a bit with the dynamics and stuff but generally it sounds ok.
Pedaling, dynamics and articulation are left to the pianist's discretion. Enjoy!
