There have been a fair number of complaints about what people saw of Halo at E3, despite the fact that lots of players' comments were pretty positive. Chief among the complaints were low framerates and lack of detail in multiplayer.
Bungie.org's own Louis Wu has recovered from his Halo Overload as he called it and put up his own post-E3 summary of his Halo experience. He still seems to feel the game is fun and on-track. An excerpt:
All the kvetching about how much less powerful the machines showing at E3 were compared to production Xbox iron aside, it does seem as if perhaps Halo and the new machine might be suffering a bit from overhype. Penny Arcade weighs in again today with their impression of the pair. The summary was eh .

Ares wrote to us via RHL to let us know that the Prophecies section of the Seventh God site has been updated, adding a downloadable MP3 file with music by Glue the Moose and narration.
The Seventh God is an upcoming 19-level solo expansion by Creation for Myth 2.
The MythVillage found an interview with MacSoft's Al Schilling at IMG that asks about their plans with Myth III, among other games. Fortunately, MacSoft has said that Mumbo Jumbo is already developing Myth III for both platforms and anticipate a simultaneous release.
Some of you have noticed the lack of blood staining the mesh in the E3 trailer and have voiced concern in the forums. Fear not! Meggs has reassured that we'll get our gore.
Bravehamster posted his thoughts on HALO after E3 just a couple of days ago, giving much praise, but promising a follow up. Well, it's here and it's not as good as some may have hoped.
We may have missed this one first time around, but FiringSquad put up a short Halo item as part of their coverage of the first day of E3. They mentioned that their desire to see more gameplay than what was shown at Gamestock was partially fulfilled, and voiced some of the same concerns about multiplayer and framerates that others have:
MS Jolt went to E3 and played a whole-lotta XBox and they certainly didn't overlook HALO. Staff member Will White was impressed with the solo play, but like so many, was very disappointed with the multiplayer performance:
