We may have missed this one first time around, but FiringSquad put up a short Halo item as part of their coverage of the first day of E3. They mentioned that their desire to see more gameplay than what was shown at Gamestock was partially fulfilled, and voiced some of the same concerns about multiplayer and framerates that others have:
There was definite chugging in [8-player splitscreen multi] mode as framerates dipped down to about 10 or 15 fps by our best estimation. While it was still fun to run around and blast away at the other E3 attendees, we're still left wanting more from Halo, convinced that Bungie and Microsoft are keeping an ace or two up their sleeves to help the game live up to the impossible hype.
The article also has eight screenshots, although most are the same as or similar to what we've seen before... all except... this one, which I don't remember seeing before. Anyone know where it was taken?
UPDATE: Thanks to DaftShadow who let me know that this screenshot was indeed included in the recent batch posted at Blue's News.
