The Marathon Resurrection team has sent seven screenshots of their latest build to [osx], a Macintosh dedicated Unreal Tournament site. Here they are:
MythVillage has received two new pictures taken from E3. The first picture is of a second Myth III poster that displays different units than the one first reported. There are three different types of Dwarves shown; the first looks like he's carrying a hammer, which is rumored to be an engineer unit, the second wields an axe, and the third appears to be the standard Dwarf.
Blue's News' own Loonyboi came in awhile back with a parting shot on E3, and mentioned both the Xbox and Halo:
Forum poster |bmr|kuran was asking about HALO cutscenes, wondering if they'll be rendered in-engine or as FMV. Joseph Staten of the Sin-O-MatiXXX team posted the answer to this and more:
Setter-upper of the fifth annual Bungie Fanfest, Freewill has put together a report of what happened during that glorious night. A jolly time would be had by Bungie employees, fans, and dorks alike, and the report has the pictures to prove it. Don't miss this one, as it is the best first-hand report of the FanFest out there.
We were pleasantly surprised to find an e-mail from the Marathon Resurrection team with an attachment including seven exclusive screenshots of the upcoming project using the Unreal Tournament engine. These shots are beautiful and taken at 1024x768 to show glorious detail. Go get 'em!
MWA has scored an interview with Mumbo Jumbo, developers of Myth III: The Wolf Age, and are looking for your help. Instead of making up their own, MWA is asking fans to submit questions that will be used in an upcoming interview. So find something that hasn't been answered by the team already, send in your question, and keep an eye out at MWA during the next few weeks and see if yours is asked.
Here's the unedited update, baby!
No rest for Bungie. Here's a taste of what's happening:- We now have team-specific versions of all multiplayer games. We're also introducing a bunch of multiplayer options (unlimited grenades, motion tracker off, limited number of lives, player with ball runs faster instead of slower, and a bunch more) so people can set up games under all sorts of interesting, challenging, amusing conditions.
- Speaking of multiplayer, Chris Carney is the latest addition to the team, designing new multiplayer maps.
Matt Soell has cause quite a stir in the community with his latest post on HALO, multiplay, and the XBox:
