Xbox Live Now Price Changes
Microsoft has changed the pricing structure for Xbox Live Now; prices now range from $5.99 per month for subscriptions, $49.99 per year for subscriptions, $29.99 for the Voice Communicator, $69.99 for the Starter Kit, which includes the voice communicator and MechAssault. Thanks GamesDomain.

As if to confirm our original suspicions, we got another copy of the "you've won an Xbox" mail from another domain, this time prizebounty.com. IANAL, but this one spells S-C-A-M to me.

Nintendo Drops GameCube Price
Subnova is reporting that Nintendo has dropped the GameCube price to $100.
Looks like MS may or may not be catching up with Sony, but the battle with Nintendo may be becoming desperate for the older manufacturer.
Caveat Winner: You've Won An Xbox?
Just to let everyone know, I-- like I suspect many have in the Halo community-- been receiving email that loudly proclaims that it "is not spam" from a site called GiftStakes.com, and announcing that you've won an Xbox, and all you need to do is claim it from their website.
If you follow the link, you'll be asked for a code from the email, and taken to a page to enter your name and address.. and then they'll ask you to pay for the shipping and handling of your prize. Debit card is the only payment method accepted.
