IGN has a new Stubbs the Zombie video up now-- this one shows split-screen coop play, Stubbs style. Note the extra indicators in the HUD compared to split screen play in Halo; the symbol over the other player's head is a number, rather than just an arrow, and other indicators are placed on the screen for various objects, including vehicles.
Add another name to the list of directors who are not doing the Halo movie: Peter Jackson.
GameSpot's Rumor Control busts reports that the Halo movie will be directed by Jackson. Despite someone calling themselves "Marty the Elder" on a Uwe Boll fansite making this claim, Universal says Jackson is not doing the film.
MCV has a story quoting a Microsoft rep as saying a Halo 2-sized media blitz for the upcoming Xbox 360 title Perfect Dark Zero will begin in October. The parallel even extends to the Special Edition of PD0 in a chrome tin. Thanks Kotaku.

Inside Mac Games put up Part 26 of their One on One with Glenda Adams earlier this week. The Mac port of Stubbs the Zombie garners a mention:

Frankie's second report from the Tokyo Game Show has Kameo and cosplayers, Koei and yaoi (sort of), Chrome Hounds and Dynasty Warriors, five Resident Evils and Ninety-Nine Nights. Not to mention a list of things you can't put in a locker in Japan, which makes me wonder what Frankie is doing over there in his free time.

The Halo Babies this week have to deal with unexpected consequences of Grif's stupidity from the first season of Red vs Blue. The strip was the runner-up in the red vs blue contest. Thanks, mrsmiley.
Bungie's Frankie has created his own Bungie.net Group, the Legion of Jerks, for "evil-smelling ruffians" who like "Pie and Margaritas". (Not sure who Pie is, but hopefully they'll have some nice-looking Margaritas--Ed.)

Chris Bryan has recreated what looks like a few seconds from the Halo 2 announcement trailer with what one imagine might be Halo 3 quality graphics-- entirely from scratch (no extracted content).
