Zandervix over at MBO noticed that MythPortal is closing to move to a new server, and that when it completes that move it will have a new name and apparently a new, broader focus. Stay tuned.
In a forum thread at HBO discussing recent claims that Halo saved game files had been hacked to gain access to infinite ammo and other things, Mat MSN Noguchi had the following to say:
GameSpot has a story up about a survey conducted by Greensfield Online. Apparently it contained some questions for consumers about concepts for new Microsoft products. One such product was an Xbox connection kit, which would let Xbox owners connect their systems to a PC for the purpose of accessing MP3s and other files. Apparently the connection would be made via ethernet
Well, since there's no official word-- in fact, there are official denials going back quite awhile-- take this note with a few heaping tablespoons of salt.

According to this item by Blambi over at MythVillage, EGArentz, a Mac Myth III beta tester for MacSoft, has posted a message in the forum over at IMG, suggesting that the Mac version of the game has benefited from many changes since the first PC version, and that the game really
Battleground: Halo spotted an interesting tidbit in the latest issue of PC Zone:
Our guess is that Halo for the PC will be out next autumn, probably to coincide with the announcement of Halo 2, which is already being worked on and a cert to arrive on Xbox first yet again.
Before you get all excited, this statement has no credibility. Don't believe it simply because it's in a printed magazine; they're very often wrong.
Gene G. Marcial of Business Week has discussed the possible Take 2 acquisition a bit more in his latest article, A Play For Take-Two:
