John Callaham had this to say regarding some of the submissions he has received in the contest thus far:
Kudos again to Tsao for pointing out a pair of important events on Bungie's Events Calender, and to poena.dare for not letting them go unannounced:
Kudos to XZCion, who brought to our attention a post made by Bungie's Matt Soell at halo.bungie.org (I'll have the link to the original post in the thread as soon as I happen upon it) that's chock full of Halo teasers and E3 promises. Here's an interesting tidbit:
Kudos to HWED, who pointed out the arrival of Bungie's C project, a revamping of Bungie's Events Calender. Using the Calender, people can now announce and plan events in advance without the hassle of bothering Yeroen about it (for which I'm sure he's thankful ;).
Already a few events are popping up... this should be an interesting page to keep an eye on. Tournaments, smaller events, and announcements together, and all with advance warning.
Papa Doom sends word that a new German Halo site, HaloNews.de, has just come online... not to be confused with HaloNews.Com. The German Halo community seems to be expanding fairly quickly, and I'm wondering if the verboten PC Action movie might have done more good than harm.
Well, it looks like our efforts at the E3.Stomped.Com poll weren't in vain, despite the crash and the horrible Diablo II victory afterward. John Callaham of Stomped.Com is offering a free copy of Halo, Diablo II and TeamFortress 2 to the one person who can tell him, in 25 words or less, why he or she deserves to win.
