Kudos to XZCion, who brought to our attention a post made by Bungie's Matt Soell at halo.bungie.org (I'll have the link to the original post in the thread as soon as I happen upon it) that's chock full of Halo teasers and E3 promises. Here's an interesting tidbit:
There will be a lot of surprises in Halo, but the old-school Bungie fans will perhaps be the most pleasantly surprised of all. I wish I could be around to see your faces the first time you see... well, you'll see.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so perhaps several years with Bungie's focus away from our beloved Marathon universe will make a return even sweeter.
