Some good results this week, fairly even and not quite as lopsided as past weeks. When asked if Halo should contain male and female models (as opposed to using a single human model and avoiding sexism altogether), around 250 voters had this to say:
Good news for North American Halo junkies. Charles of Inside Mac Games passed along a few comments made by Bungie's Doug Zartman confirming the previously rumored Halo movie on an upcoming IncitePC magazine CD:
I guess it was inevitable... an anonymous source supplied me with a login and password to an FTP site yesterday, pointing me in the direction of the German PC Action Oni/Halo movie. While Bungie has requested that this movie not be distributed over the net, I couldn't resist downloading...
Posted too soon, it seems. A translated copy of the German PC Action article has been posted at halo.bungie.org, and while it's brief and lacking in any new information, they've got the most realistic release dates and system requirements I've seen yet. Our thanks as well to Harry Al-Shakarchi for the translation!
I am, of course, simply trying to tempt fate into handing over something interesting. Not much to report this holiday weekend (hope you American folk enjoyed your walking bird), though we might have a little bit over the weekend...

Mucho kudos to CyberBob, who has not only transcribed but translated the content of the PC Action movie that has been making its rounds around Europe over the past week. While it's no live action trailer, it's an interesting read... our thanks to him for taking the time to do this, and in doing so break the lull around here.
A heads up from Marathon's Story: it looks like Bungie will indeed be at MWSF. Matt Soell had this to say in a forum post at halo.bungie.org:

Indeed! Now then, need to make plans to cover the Expo... while I expect Oni will be the big item there, I can't imagine Halo not making an appearance.

As posted at Marathon's Story, Bungie's Matt Soell has been making the rounds, dropping hints on the Oni and Halo bungie.org forums about the long anticipated #2 , as well as another project in the works at Bungie. Hmm, any new guesses at to what Bungie is planning on unleashing upon us?
The idea for this week's poll came from a number of sources, primarily a discussion about genders on the forum and some discussion elsewhere regarding some new female models in Quake 3. I'm genuinely curious to see how people vote on this one... I suspect one of those choices is going to prove popular, but I'd like to measure exactly how popular.
