Interview Contest
Fresh from the mailbox is a note from Jenkz of Haloplayers inviting entries into a Slashdot-esque interview with Bungie's Max Hoberman (I think). Anyways, that PR:

Kudos to Bullseye, who just pointed out this fantastic bit of new: Oni has been confirmed for the Playstation 2! The news comes from Yahoo, and gives the finer details of the deal. An excerpt:
While halo.bungie.org usually covers the exploits of the Halo@SETI team in ample detail, this latest achievement merits special notice: following the addition of a few new members, the Halo SETI Marines have arrived at the magical number of 77 in the overall team standings. Kudos to the number crunchers driving their astonishing climb... the tru7th is out there...
Still not much in the way of Halo news to report, but at least there are a few things to occupy our attention until Bungie gives us something else to chew on. In fact, they've offered Marathon's Story a nibble, regarding one of those infamous product UPC code acronyms. Stop by and see if you can decipher YYMMDBATC ...
A quick note from Ammo of The Guidestone, who is seeking a little bit of help from the bottomless talent pool of the community:
As pointed out by Thaumaturge on the forum, Bungie has again appeared in a list of prospective developers for Microsoft's X-Box, this time in a Gamespot FAQ. Rather interesting seeing Bungie listed alongside console heavyweights like Konami and Capcom. Things that make ya go hmm...
Kudos to Xero, who just pointed out a new Halo preview courtesy of NGNetwork. It's interesting to note that this article doesn't gush over Halo as some others have, and actually has some new info. An excerpt:
Precious little to report today. In fact, in bouncing around the sites, I find nothing at all. Sigh, it's a quiet day when you can't even borrow news from your fellows...
Hmm... a link of the day, then. If you're new to the whole Bungie cult thing, you're likely aware of Myth and Marathon by now. However, there's another game that precedes both of those, an insidiously challenging first person action/puzzle game called Pathways into Darkness.
As reported at Marathon's Story, Inside Mac Games has posted an interview with three major Mac publishers: Aspyr Media, MacSoft, and good ol' Bungie. The person being grilled on behalf of Bungie is Executive Vice President Peter Tamte, and the article as a whole makes for a good read. Certainly worth checking out.
Kudos to rojay, who pointed out on the forum an interesting comment from Bungie's Alexander Seropian with regards to Microsoft's all but announced X-Box:
