PC Vs. Xbox Halo
Jake 'Evergreen98' Billo has posted a three part article at The Junkyard, comparing elements of the forthcoming PC release of Halo by Gearbox to the original game on the Xbox.

Just like our compatriots over at HBO, Rampancy is sending representatives to the Are You Big Enough LANfest in Andover, Massachusetts, which despite our colleague's impressions, is a location that has nothing to do with anal sex. Phantom: Vaporware Or Trojan Horse?
Last January, a previously unknown company called Infinium Labs announced that they would be designing and manufacturing a new gaming console to compete with the Xbox, the GameCube, and the PlayStation 2, to be called the Phantom. Given how competetive and expensive a market that is to enter, some were unsure if the console itself would ever materialize or be successful.

The cat has left the bag, hopped on a train and skipped town. News on how to exploit an integer underflow bug in the security routines of the Xbox dashboard's font loader have been posted at Full Disclosure.
The example code there does NOT, repeat NOT allow for copying games or playing copied games. Full Disclosure isn't going to help you do that, and neither is Rampancy.
PC Halo Coop Not Dead Yet
In an interview over at Telefragged, Randy Pitchford from Gearbox gives us some hope that even if Halo for the PC doesn't have cooperative play at launch, it might gain it later on:
