Failing to find him among the humans on the Marathon, Durandal has sent us back to the Pfhor scoutship to try and save Bernhard Strauss. There's still no indication of which one of these exploding BoBs he was; the Pfhor are keeping the real and fake ones all mixed together, which adversely affects their life expectancies.
