If you haven't seen the handstand yet, Synox points out that it may not come anytime soon: Bungie has asked that the pictures be removed from Halo World, and they have been.
Another round of kudos to Synox, who has pointed out a very cool series of screenshots at Halo World demonstrating the much discussed handstand sequence. Truly, your enemies shall know fear when they witness this awesome display of courage and balance...
I'm just kidding, of course. Synox followed up an earlier post about the new Halo movie with a second post stating that the movie may not be uploaded for at least six weeks, due to copyright issues... hmm.
Painful as it may be, we'll abide by that restriction until such times as a way around it can be found. Until then, cross your fingers and watch for that movie to appear somewhere else...
A day (or two) late, but here's the results from last week's poll, which saw almost five hundred votes cast and was a delightful example of the Marathon community rising up and crushing a poll. When asked what game they looked forward to spending their time on till Halo, voters had this to say:
Synox has pointed out in a forum post that there is a new Halo movie on the cover CD of the German magazine PC Action:
Kudos to MacDrugal, who points out yet more new Halo screenshots from the german site www.gxp.de. The second of these new shots, while of poor quality, shows a new weapon:

How did you hear about the game, and become a part of the community (or aware of it, if you try to keep yourself out of our crazed ranks)? Not the most controversial topic, of course, but a good information source. I suspect most readers will opt for the Older Game choice, having come from older game communities like Myth or Marathon...
Kudos to Noctavis, who pointed out an interesting comment made by Dave Laprad, editor in chief at the Adrenaline Vault, regarding their lack of Halo coverage:
We have been working with Bungie on a preview for some time. Stay tuned.
Fascinating. Keep your eyes peeled for this one, which is likely to be an interesting one.
