Kudos to The Rock, who has transcribed and posted a portion of a post MWSF interview with Bungie's Joseph Staten, conducted by Inside Mac Games. Sadly, there's no new--wait a second, there is some new information here! Here's the interesting excerpt:
CyberBob of Halo World let us know about a new German Halo site named Planet-Halo. The owner specifies in his PR that they are not part of the GameSpy/PlanetFoo empire. Currently, they're located at http://planet-halo.splatterworld.de, but they will soon be moving to http://www.planet-halo.de. Welkommen!
Both Neticule and Virgil of Alloygaming.Com contacted us. First of all, their central gaming site has a new Halo preview up. Keep that salt-shaker handy for a few inaccuracies and some very funny statements. Second, they are hosting a new Halo site named Orbit. Alloy Gaming does have a nice look to it. We wish them luck and welcome Orbit to the Halo community.
As posted at Halo.Bungie.Org, there is a poll at VR Magazine which asks, Which title will most redefine gaming in 2000?
This is our first chance to hit a poll since the incident at E3.Stomped.Com, and right now it looks like the Warcraft III and Dark Sector fans are sleeping. We can't expect for the poll to go unnoticed for long and we want to win this one decisively, so don't hesitate to go and cast your vote!
That's right, the dusty old Database script hasn't been forgotten about. Kudos go to Cannibal Harry and CyberBob, who have written up an extensive analysis of the Cortana letters as well as those enigmatic quotes that could be found on Bungie's original Halo website. Tons of thought provoking material here.
Flashback (aka Alan Stott) has notified us of a new article at Halo-Net, titled the The Introduction Handbook for Halo. It may have a couple of light inaccuracies and definitely isn't for the bandwidth-challenged, since the pages are actually GIF images. It also ends at page three... I'm not sure if that was intended or not. It will be interesting to compare this with Ferr's own Welcome to Halo article.
Kudos to Legend for posting word of a new Halo preview at. Folks, we're getting rusty-that preview is two weeks old!
