Kudos to ax, who pointed out a GameSpot report that Halo will be among the games demonstrated at Gamestock on March 12th. The relevant blurb for your reading pleasure:
The response to Matt's question has been a huge one. Some suggestions have been more humorous than realistic but there have also been several good ideas. A few of the more popular suggestions include Halo action-figures, a Halo art-book and/or documentary ( The making of Halo ), a radio-controlled Warthog jeep and various flags or posters. If you've got a new idea to add to the pile, then get in there!
Nathan Bitner - Well, fortunately for your editors, thereare a lot of questions that we cant answer in full detail anyway. :-)
Im sure you will understand that at such an early stage, we are onlyprepared to release a limited amount of information about Halo, but Illdo my best to answer as many of your questions as I can before someone puts amuzzle on me.
Matt posed an interesting question in the forum a short while ago, which ties in with the current bungie.net poll. The question:
Many of you have probably seen our Halo clothes poll. I'm wondering if any of you have a keen desire for any specific Halo-related goodies which are not clothing. If you could have only one Halo-related doo-dad, what would it be? It doesn't have to be conventional (t-shirt, poster, book, etc.) though if that's the thing you'd want the most, by all means say so.
Tis the season, apparently. Word of two new polls have cropped up, and the MSXbox poll continues to rage. Currently leading the pack, Halo is dominating that poll, neatly humbling MGSX. Perhaps if they renamed it 'Metal Gear Solid XP'...
Anyway, Pizzpot pointed out the first of the new polls, this one at MGON and asking what game readers are waiting for. Currently, Tribes 2 is leading Halo 328 to 228 votes--easy meat. Donate two clicks to the cause.
Heh, I was originally going to post a quickie assessment and some links for each title, but the post quickly mutated into the news post to end all news posts in typical Noc-style. So instead, I'll link you to the community forum, where others may better slice, dice and respond to the information I've got. As I spend most of my time paying attention to Halo, I've no doubt that some of you in the community will have further insight and information to offer the whole.
Over at MSXbox there's a new poll that calls for immediate action from our community. Here's the question and current results:
