If you haven't had a chance to, it might be worth visiting Halo HQ to see their new Research Center. They've begun to revive some of the old discussion about symbols found in different screen shots. I was off in the middle of some holiday revelry in another state for awhile, or else I might have posted this one a mite earlier. (Yeah, excuses excuses... ;-)
It seems that the guys at Microsoft's PR department have gotten a bit ahead of themselves and already posted up the press release to follow Bill Gate's keynote, speaking of what he has yet to show in the past-tense. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Halo will be demoed today.
Awhile ago I posted a bit of news about a very interesting game coming from Verant named PlanetSide. Pretty much, it appears to be very much like Halo - inspired by Halo, some in the gaming world are saying - yet it is a massive multiplayer game set in a persistent world.
Kudos to S'phtman, who pointed out a rather interesting feature at Daily Radar: a list of XBox launch titles. Surprisingly, in a cynical way, Halo has not only made but topped that short list:
