Kudos to Sean Phelps (via Hamish at Marathon's Story) for the URL that Cyberbob passed along via RHL's news. What URL, you ask? Why, this URL, which points towards a GameDeveloper's Conference schedule page for Halo: A Case Study. Listed speakers are John Howard and Jason Jones, and the conference will be taking place in San Jose, March 20-24.
The elite circle of hosts has grown in number this week, with the steadfast fellows at Battleground: Halo receiving this week's Halo update from Matt. Among other things, the update speaks of power shifts in Bungie's internal clans, and much about weapons (the two, mercifully, are not related.) An excerpt:

Another fansite joins the elite circle of hosts for my weekly Halo update. Someday Soon we'll all look back on these days and think Remember when those weekly Halo updates were the best Halo info the fansites were getting? Things are MUCH cooler now.
So what's new and interesting this week?
Well curse me for a lazy slob, and then rejoice! On my first reading of the item at GameStar.de, (reported here) it appeared that Halo would be delayed by four months after the X-Box comes out. It will be delayed... for the PC, that is. According to GameStar's information the X-Box version will be shipping with the X-Box. Happy Day! (Possibly in less than a year? Read on...)
Psyrrix sent in notification that he's been evicted from his site, the Psyjnir Complex. Is the site changing to a new design, or is something else afoot?
