Anyway, I'm sneaking this week's halo update in between Support DB stuff and wanted to clarify this since the word Banshee pops up again. The Banshee is the one that flies...the ones that stay low to the ground are Ghosts.
The names suggest a certain Covenant fascination with the afterlife, and the matter of what is what has been covered to some degree at the Marathon's Story page. When in doubt, ask, right? ;-)

Kudos to Sokar, webmaster of the german Halo site Halo Empire, who wrote alerting us to an interesting image. Remember the recent Seattle Times article, and its picture of the guys playing something on an oblique TV screen?
Well, the fellows at Halo Empire have applied their 1337 Photoshop skillz to it, and 'lo, we have the Marine. Ah, the wonders of image enhancement... definitely worth checking out.
This week's Halo update went to HBO, but their news guys are off a mysterious and dangerous assignment on a remote Venezuelan tepui. So Matt kindly reposted it on their forum. Twinkling stars, the chain gun bouncing around as the jeep moves, AI improvements, a big freakin' Covenant ship, and lot's more.

I have nothing to complain about this week so I'll launch right into the update.
The DVD option at the Bungie.Net poll now has almost half of the vote, remaining as the most popular option. However, Matt saw the way I put things yesterday and wanted to clarify things a bit:
We were first informed by David Bricker of a new interview with Matt Soell at Halo HQ. The topics include his expectations for Halo and the ongoing debate regarding videogame violence vs. real-world violence. It doesn't present new Halo information, but it does give me a stronger sense of anticipation for the GDC, GameStock and E3.
After the monster thread of suggestions that followed Matt Soell's question here on Halo merchandise, Bungie appears to have narrowed the selection down to four items in the newest Bungie.Net community-site poll:
