The latest email update from Gamasutra, a site devoted to game development, lists positions for a developer and an 3d environmental artist as open. These positions aren't yet listed on Bungie's own Jobs page, but they can be seen by searching Gamasutra's job database for Bungie; they're listed as new as of January 31. Progress update for the Mac and PC version of Halo, the most intresting information is:
additional multiplayer maps and possible new weapons and vehicles because of expected greater online play by computer users

According to Cookieman and Yeroen at Bungie.net, a six level preview version of a new Myth solo plugin entitled The Seventh Godblighter Preview Pack should be made available today, authored by Teepens.
This expansion promises a multi-storyline plot featuring humans, dwarves, elves and goblins, with an option to play as each.
It requires that the plugin The Seventh God from Creation also be installed. Both files will be on fileball.net's Mill area; look under Myth 2.
Sharp-eyed reader Phil Maurer pointed out to us a screenshot of the upcoming LucasArts game RTX Red Rock, hosted over at GameSpy. Look closely and you'll see that the bespectacled character there has what appears to be an upside-down Marathon logo on his chest. RTX Red Rock is, ironically, a third person shooter-- just as Halo was originally intended to be.
PlayMyth.net is reporting an update on their Myth 3 project! They are reporting that Mac and PC updates should be available to download soonЩ. If you are still interested in Myth, go and check out their update. It's nice to see that Myth 3 is still alive!

c0ld vengeance has given us his plan for how to handle Halo 2 when it comes out, and entitled it Halo 2: A Bachelor's Guide . We might actually try this; although, to be honest, this is only a slightly formalized version of an average weekend.
IGN is reporting that Halo has now been included in the holiday promotional package that comes with every Xbox sold between December 11 and 31 in Germany. Earlier the bundle included Jet Set Radio Future and Sega GT; now it comes with all three games.
