Old skule Halo website junkies will remember Halam, one of the original half dozen sites to see serious work done on them. However, Mojo has decided to lay that site to rest for good, but has started something new in it's place:

As seen on the Oni Central forum:
Pico posted an email he'd sent to Gathering of Developers with some questions on Oni's publishing and marketing, along with a response from GOD's Robert Westmoreland. Among other things, the response affirms that GOD plans to release Oni in October (which again suggests simultaneous release with the PS2).

Following Alex Seropian's reaffirmation of Halo for the Mac during Steve Jobs' MacWorld keynote last Wednesday, InsideMacGames scored a short video interview. In the video, Bungie Studios president Seropian commented on the decision.
The link doesn't appear to be working just yet, but we assume it will be shortly. Thanks to CyberBob on the Rampancy hotline server who pointed this out.

Even though Myth 2 has much better graphics and has a much better interface then M1 will ever get, we lost what was so great about Myth and that is the physics from TFL...
Well now you'll get those great physics from the TFL Physics Pluginv2 into Myth 2 from Creation!
Some Features include:
-All melee units pathfinding has been upgraded around to .400, meaning that there will be no such thing as clumping in this plugin and it will make melee battles look a lot cooler not to mention realistic.
Miss Pallor's editorial summing up the fan reaction to the Bungie purchase and the period of doubt about Halo's development that followed has a number of important points that I thought were worth responding to.
The fellows at halo.bungie.org have obtained a piece of early Halo artwork from the digital ink master Craig Mullins. Depicting a confrontation between a few marines and something with big claws, the picture is apparently a rejected piece, but what Mullins considers a reject is still beyond the ability of most mortals. Here's hoping we see more of his work in the future!
Miss Pallor has written an editorial at the corporation site about all the recent developments in the Bungieverse over the past few weeks, with a particular slant towards the fan reactions. It's well worth a read, although sure to incense a certain segment of the community.
Here's an excerpt:
Kudos to Cannibal Harry, who has digitized and posted several movies from the MWNY Fanfest on his site. The high quality videos are for the Halo 'Wassup!' and nVidia commercial movies, as shot with his camcorder at the event, and come in high quality and high compression versions. Well worth the downloads, especially if you're looking for a chuckle. ;)
We've already remarked on the amazing success of the NY FanFest this past Friday, but here are a few of my personal observations:
Firstly, a huge Action Sack o'kudos is owed to Miguel (Freewill) for organizing the whole thing, from getting the pizzas to arranging for the location (Neutral Ground on W. 122nd Street).
