All of us except for Rex (Kidding, but he celebrated it about six weeks ago... Silly Canadians ;-) would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! We hope you have a very rampant holiday, filled with food and good will. And if you happen to be away from home or family, then feel free to come hang out with some of us at RHL. There'll be virtual turkey, stuffing and all of the other fixin's served round the clock in between chat and gaming. =)
The new Bungie.Org front page is up, and - surprise, surprise - there is a new question-marked item in their menu of sites. What could they be planning now? Perhaps something to cover Phoenix, or a new Myth III site? Stay tuned.
As pointed out by 3of9 on RHL, it appears bungie.org is up to no good again! Renovations perhaps, even suggested by the cryptic comments, but you can never be sure with that wily bunch. Better safe than sorry... start stockpiling food and weapons now.
In the last two days, Yeroen (aka Max Hoberman) of Bungie has posted a couple items on the status of Bungie.Net (the game server) and Bungie.Net. (the web server) First of all, some of the problems with the gaming servers have been corrected, but the Myth TFL gaming server is currently down for the count.
For those of you don't know, Doug Zartman was formerly Bungie's head spin-doctor and the Voice of Bob. After Bungie's acquisition by Microsoft, he took a position within the great Windowed Fortress' marketing department.
It's so good to see Oni being previewed, instead of just anticipated, no? Kudos to CyberBob, who pointed out another preview at GameSpy, which offers up more than a few tempting descriptions of Oni's genre busting gameplay. Dwelling on the weapons and interface, the overall tone is positive, right down to the inevitable Konoko vs. Lara plug at the end.

The Gathering of Developers held a press event in San Francisco yesterday, and the folk at Gamespot got to play with a few titles that are due to come out soon, including Oni.
Daily Radar popped out a new Oni preview which includes some storyline hints as well as a description one of the cooler weapons... the mercury bow. DR had this to say, so close to Oni's release:
