Mapmaking Afoot At Subnova
Two mapmaking-related updates from Subnova lately.
The first is the formation of a PC Halo Mapmaking group called The Silent Cartographers. They intend to make maps, weapons and vehicles for Halo PC, and unlike most other mapmaking groups, they are not recruiting new members.

RedvsBlue has put up its fifth and final Public Service Announcement for season 1; next week is the final episode in that season. After that, there will be a short break while they revise the site and make the Season 1 DVD. Thanks buzby.
RvB To Present At Texas Film Festival
gfunk over at Red vs. Blue posted that they'll be showing some, perhaps, all, of their episodes atht the CinemaTexas International Film Festival in Austin, Texas at an event called Games Without Borders. It's at the University of Texas campus on Saturday, September 20th at 3 PM. gfunk also goes on to detail what the rest of the day will include, but I'll let you read that yourself.

Lots Of Goodies In Sybex PC Halo Strategy Guide
Louis Wu at HBO pointed out that the author of Sybex's Strategy Guide for PC Halo, Doug Radcliffe, posted in the HBO forum that the guide is finished and should be out around the same time as the game. However, more exciting than that are some of the extras that will be included:
Fans On Film
Both HBO and Bungie.net are hosting parts 0, 1 and 2 of a documentary film made by Mr Smiley at the last Los Angeles Bungie FanFest. The HBO versions are in WMP9 and QuickTime and are rather large; the Bungie.net versions are smaller. Thanks Louis Wu at HBO.
