This update synchronizes the Mac version with the PC version 1.04 allowing cross-platform multiplayer to again function. Requires Halo v1.03. NOTE: You should disable your anti-virus software before running the updater. If you are reinstalling Halo, you need to first download the 1.03 update and install it prior to installing the 1.04 update.

Mac halo update 1.04
I don't know about anyone else but when I installed this update my controls no longer worked. I could only move backwards. And everytime I try to change it, no matter what button I pushed to change it to, it always changes to x and still only moves backwards.
Update 1.03 works when I went back to that one.

Yup
In reply to: a bit early...I've got it now. Don't know if it fixes that problem yet. In fact, I hadn't even had time to do the 1.04 patch in the first place, so I may never even notice that keyboard problem.

1.04 link problems
Have tried to download 1.04 but every time I try it takes me to a page that says something like:
Your browser has been sent to SPEED DOWNLOAD. If you see this screen after 5 seconds hit your BACK button on your browser.
is the site maybe just down today or is something wrong? I've tried using both Safari and IE and neither work. (In fact, IE crashes each time I select the link). Could use some help here. Thanks.

Okay
In reply to: 1.04 link problemsIf you're seeing something like "Speed Download" you may have a download accelerator/download manager installed (Speed Download 2, I assume). Some sites don't allow download accelerators to use them, and others (like HBO) discourage their use. I've never used one myself, so I don't know if there might be problems using one with Rampancy.
If you've got one, maybe you should try uninstalling it, or perhaps just turning it off.
Second-- check further up on the page, this isn't the latest update anymore. The latest version is 1.041.
