Jason Loonyboi Bergman from Shacknews recently interviewed Chris DiCesar, Microsoft Games' group PR manager, about the status of the PC/Mac ports of Halo. In terms of when it will happen, DiCesar said it's still up in the air . He also indicates that no actual work has even begun on the port:

Just kind of a non-update update, since news is slow.

Matt popped onto the HBO forum recently to respond to continuing questions about the PC and Macintosh versions of Halo and said:

Zandervix at MBO has posted that MythMaps and MythWA are both hosting patches that replace the Bungie.Net and Marius.Net patches for Myth, thus allowing play on the new PlayMyth server

Gholsbane at Myth.Bungie.Org has added the Myth 3 journal items to the index of journal entries for the Myth game series.

Anima at MythVillage has posted news that the website for the new Myth game server has now launched at PlayMyth.net. Users may set up accounts now in anticipation for the server's launch on April 25.

Zandervix over at Myth.Bungie.Org posted the news from MythMaps that they are proceeding with beta testing, and are about ready to offer users individual accounts if you email them at accounts@mythmaps.com.

Well, just as soon as we open our big fat mouths to say there's no new information, Matt pulls up to the drive-thru window at HBO to toss a few more needles into the haystack.

Strolled over to the Marathon Open Source project page and saw that the Macintosh version of Aleph One was updated earlier today. Although it's dated February 20, there is no news item that lists the latest changes. At any rate, be sure to download the latest build if Aleph One is your thing.

Zandervix posted at MBO that The Mill is giving away five copies of Myth 3.

Creation Games has released Sisters of the Blade, which Blambi at MythVillage dubbed scantily clad chicks running around killing stuff.
