As posted at myth.bungie.org, beating Myth: TFL with no casualties was not enough for Daniel Asmodeus Gentry. No sir, he went and did all 25 levels with style--no damage. One of the longest running Myth sites, Mythology, announced today that they've reached the end of the road. With their host soon to pull the plug on the site, another respectable site will be returning to the ether.

Stop by and read their post on the issue (and have a taste of their continuing sense of humor), and do it quickly before it's gone. Several members of the Mythology team will be continuing on at other sites, so they're certainly not lost to us, but the Myth scene has just gotten a bit quieter...

Quite possibly the most prolific of Myth map making groups, Creation has announced a even more projects in the works, along with a few public releases. The Townhall has the lowdown, and the Creation site contains even more details on what's up and coming. Definitely worth checking out.

Matt Soell spoke up in the HBO forum on the issue of the recent Myth III rumors:

There's a reason for that.... :-)

I know what the Myth II guys are working on now, and I'm privy to some of the names we've discussed for the project, and Myth III is not one of those names.

We've known that The Team Formerly Known as Myth II (TTFKAM2) has been working on something for awhile. Something pointed out by HWED at the Myth Townhall is that UGR has some interesting items in its release date listing:

Hee hee... Forrest of myth.bungie.org posted an interesting little request in the forum seeking any old school Myth players who are interested in writing a sort of Myth version of the biblical genesis story. All done in good taste, of course.

Continuing their special report on game development for MacOS X, MacGamer's Ledge has saved the best for last: Bungie. It's certainly not surprising that Oni and Halo are slated to be released with OS X support, but this tidbit was rather interesting:
